Five Minute Breakfast Bowl

Wakey, Wakey!

Here's a protein packed breakfast bowl that's filled with flavor and ready in five minutes! If you have cooked quinoa in your fridge - as I usually do, you can make breakfast, lunch and dinners in a flash.  Let me know what you love eating for breakfast so I can come up with a Hangry District spin on it.

1 cup Quinoa, cooked
1 Scallion, chopped
1 Tbsp. Cilantro, chopped
Shredded Cheese, as much as you like
2 Eggs, however you prefer
Salt
Pepper
Sriracha heart ♥

What To Do With It:

Mix the quinoa with some shredded cheese, salt and pepper.  Pop in the microwave for 45 seconds.

Add the cilantro and scallion to the warm quinoa and stir.

Top the quinoa bowl with your favorite type of cooked eggs* and top with a Sriracha heart!!  How easy is that?!

Shout out to Relish Decor for my "Good Morning, Honey" bowls :)

Eggscellent!

Cost: $2.50

*Hangry District Tip: To make a quick over-easy egg, pop an ice cube into your pan after the eggs have cooked for 2 minutes.  Cover the pan and cook until the water from the ice has evaporated and the yolks are no longer visible - serve immediately!  Yummy & runny, honey!
